Sydney’s journey began in 2008. Injuring her back in gymnastics, she was told to see a chiropractor every week for the rest of her life. She was invited to a yoga class that opened her heart, took away her pain and gave her hope for the future. She began teaching to give that peace and empowerment back to others, helping them to take hold of their life and get back into their bodies. Yoga for her is a graceful manner in which she can navigate the unmarked territories, while finding balance in honoring the places she has been. She approaches health and wellness with a playfulness and sense of humor that encourages all personalities to the mat. Always inviting you to build awareness, embrace individuality and connect to the community around you. Her style is for students who would like to experience play and exploration. Linking breath with movement, from one pose to another, mixing vinyasa flow with deeper stretch postures.
